The world is so exquisite with so much love

Hello!

I’m still working on this site, but I’d like to start posting here, so please forgive the incompleteness and such. I’m hoping to finish it very soon.

The blog’s title comes from this gorgeous Carl Sagan quote (found here, and also displayed on the left sidebar):

The world is so exquisite with so much love and moral depth, that there is no reason to deceive ourselves with pretty stories for which there’s little good evidence. Far better it seems to me, in our vulnerability, is to look death in the eye and to be grateful every day for the brief but magnificent opportunity that life provides.

I’ve set my old site to redirect to this one, but if you subscribed to my previous site’s feed, the address has changed. The feed can now be found here. Also, entries from my old blog are now accessible via a link on the left sidebar.

I intend to start writing/blogging much more frequently and I’m quite excited about this site (although I do need to make myself stop fiddling with the design so much! I’m such a perfectionist and want it to look just right, but I’m spending way too much time on it and on attempting to teach myself CSS.)
